18/06: My Riding Video 2008/2009
I finally made a solo video!I think the result is pretty nice. There are few tricks in there which I'm really proud of! I'll try to keep up with more video's! For now, enjoy this one!
10/06: Flatland in Spits Newspaper
The "Spits" is a free national newspaper distributed via trainstations and subwaystations. Sietse van Berkel did an interview for the newspaper during Streetmasters and explained a lot about flatland. Nothing really special to be translated. Kind of the basic stuff that riders tell about flatland, but still a good promotion for flatland in Holland!
08/06: Adidas Origanls Houseparty
On 6 June there was a secret houseparty dropped in Amsterdam! This houseparty was the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Adidas "Adidas Originals Houseparty".
There was a free diner and also free drinks all night. I was there to drop down a show!
The Adidas Holland staff was very impressed and there probably will be more work for us in the future from Adidas!

Hoe?Zo! (english translation How?So!) is a popular tv science quiz hosted by Bart Peters. In this show two famous dutch people test their knowledge in a head to head battle. During the show they also do acts and spetaculair experiments. I was asked to do a performance in the show. The show will be broadcasted 28th of July.

02/06: Streetmasters Vlaardingen
Last Sunday LostBmx and Stichting Playground organized the first Streetmasters flatland bmx competition. It was held in Vlaardingen! The weather was nice and there was a good vibe. There weren't as much riders as we thought there would, but we still had a nice day. Seven competers battled for the first place. We all had a little hangover from Milan's super sweet 18th birthday party:p but we still put on a good show. The crowd went crazy so that was a good thing.

3. Michael van der Kroft
4. Bodean Maarsen
Furthermore we saw a lot of progression! Sietse was riding really controlled and is always a nice guy to be around with. Also Michael progressed a lot and was really dialed. At the Bmx Park competition Nicky a young rider from The Hauge was dropping bombs and he pulled in practice a 360 whopper!! Holland may be small but BMX is getting bigger! Untill the next Streetmasters!
